The Off Cycle of the Zagreb Philharmonic always brings interesting and different programs to the stage, and the new season opens on Friday, October 20th at 7.30 p.m. at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall!
On this occasion the orchestra will be conducted by Silvia Sanz Torre, a woman who changes the world. This recognition was given to her in 2017 at the Spanish Solidarity Awards of the Women's Association for Dialogue and Education. The same year and three years later, she was named one of the hundred most influential women in Spain thanks to her intensive social work. Particularly noteworthy are her concerts with the youth orchestra of El Salvador, a country which awarded her recognition for her work in areas that contribute to the eradication of inequality in the world. She will be joined on stage by a young tenor from Korčula with a Zagreb address, Roko Radovan, who already has an enviable number of operatic roles and solo performances, among which are performances with the Croatian Radio and Television Choir, Croatian Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra, Antiphonus Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra of the Academy of Music, and with the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra.
