Program:

Paul Hindemith: Symphonic Metamorphosis of Themes by Carl Maria von Weber

Louis Spohr: Clarinet Concerto No. 1 in C minor, Op. 26

Robert Schumann: Symphony No. 4 in D minor, Op. 120

In this concert we are introducing an interesting blend of neoclassicism, classicism and romanticism. Davor Reba, the first clarinet of the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, accompanied by his colleagues from the orchestra, will perform the very technically demanding, yet powerful, Concerto for Clarinet and Orchestra composed by Louis Spohr.
