ROMAN SIMOVIĆ, violin

Program:

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Symphony No. 1 in E flat major, KV 16

Béla Bartók: Violin Concerto No. 2, BB 117

Antonín Dvořák: Symphony No. 9 in E minor, Op. 95

Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9 is also known as the New World Symphony. It was created during the composer''s stay in the US and represents a musical expression of his new experiences. The motifs, inspired by landscapes and bustling cities, are often intertwined with Czech folk melodies that lead the nostalgic composer back to his homeland.

Chief Conductor Dawid Runtz and the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra are inviting you to JOIN US and discover new musical worlds!
