For years the Zagreb Philharmonic Pop Orchestra has been successfully active under the aegis of the Zagreb Philharmonic. Its musicians are all members of the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, and programmes feature pop music with original arrangements and distinctive musical expression. In the unique atmosphere after each Philharmonic Ball, the Pop Orchestra members have invited many generations to the dance floor. Some of the greatest Croatian pop stars have recognized the quality of these top-notch musicians. Thus, concerts with Oliver, Gibonni, Toni Cetinski, Ricardo Luque, Petar Grašo, Boris Novković and Vanna, all add to the Orchestra’s rich concert history. Together with the Zagreb Philharmonic the Pop Orchestra will continue its dynamic concert activities.
