The Zagreb Philharmonic Clarinet Ensemble was founded at the initiative of the Zagreb Philharmonic clarinetists. They cherish chamber music-making, performing classical and contemporary international concert repertory and dedicating special attentionto works of Croatian composers. Traditional folk music also takes up a significant part in their repertory. The Ensemble is made up from the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchesra solo players: Mario Fabijanić, Davor Reba, Rude Mimica and Ratko Vojtek. Besides the joy of music-making, they are also connected by an unusual enthusiasm for the specific velvety colour of the clarinet sound.
