The prestigious record label Virgin in the Virgin Classic CD edition published the CD with opera arias “Il bel sogno” by the soprano Inva Mula and the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra directed by Ivo Lipanovic. It is the very first time that a Croatian orchestra records for such an prominent publishing label.

The CD includes arias by Giacomo Puccini (from the operas La Rondine, La Boheme and Giannni Schicchi), Charles Gounod (from the operas Mireille and Faust), Jules Massenet (from the operas Manon and Thais) and Giuseppe Verdi (from the operas La traviata and Rigoletto). more...

The leading Croatian award in discography Porin, in 2009 was given to the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra for the recording of the Third piano concerto and The violin concerto by Boris Papandopulo, under the direction of Pavle Dešpalj and will the pianist Dalibor Cikojević and violinist Sidonija Lebar as soloists. The CD was co-published by the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra and Aquarius Records.
